Lamb to the slaughter: This story is about a woman called Mary who was pregnant. She was a housekeeper and she was married with a policeman,Patrick. Her husband was usually stressed because he had a lot of work. One day, she was alone in her house, when suddenly her husband came home, he took a strong drink and Mary realized that he was in a different mood as usual. She knew that bad news were coming, at that moment her husband told her the terrible news that he wanted to divorce her, so silently she took a leg of a lamb from the freezer and she hit him on the head; she killed him. The problem was that the policemen, who were Patrick´s friends, wanted to solve the case... My Opinion about the story: I think the story is exciting because Mary seemed to be a good person but then she killed her husband. At the moment i don´t know why she did it, but then i realized that the story was so interesting and after reading you have a lot of questions like ...What happened with the baby? by LUCAS
