  1. Did you know that a very strong and intelligent woman, whose name is Malala, fought for girls educational rights, in her country Pakistan? Gender Equality is a contraversial issue because not everyone thinks about it in the same way. In my opinion, I think Gender Equality is really important for the world to raise awareness inside society.
Firs of all, I believe women must be considered like men in society. However, for example, in Middle countries, women are treated as subordinated to men. But all women, can feel, think, have opinion, have fun, can work and fight, just as men do.
Some people think, we (like a world) have a extense way ahead to being a society with Gender Equality; and it will be a difficult process. But with more people who take that risk, such as Malala or Emma Watson, we can do it.
To summarize, I feel taht in a future with effort and hope, we can achieve women and men to be treated in the same way. To conclude, I think that if we can teach Gender Equality at schools, children and teenagers can figure this issue out for a better future.

  2. Gender Equality
“Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong”, said Emma Watson during a moving speech about feminism for the UN. I personally think this is a perfect way to describe gender equality, because it is true that women are directly affected by gender inequality, but men are, too. For instance, a strong woman is considered aggressive, but a sensitive man is perceived as “girly”; a girl wearing pants and a shirt is believed to be a “tomboy”, but a man wearing a dress or a skirt is seen as someone to laugh at; so gender stereotypes affect everyone: men, women and people with other gender identities, we should all be feminists, because equality can be achieved only if we work together.
Another important phrase from Emma’s speech that I wanted to highlight is: “feminism, by definition, is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities […] It is not the word that is important, it’s the idea and the ambition behind it”. I consider this quote relevant because some people believe feminism is a doctrine that “hates men”, but, in fact, it promotes equality, it promotes tolerance and understanding.
Gender inequality isn’t only about a man punching a woman, or men saying women are less important; it is also about millions of girls being unable to study, about women being sexualized on the streets and social media, about people all around the globe scared to express what they feel, silent by gender stereotypes; and, the saddest problem of all, people who can make a change, but don´t do it because they aren’t aware of what they’re capable of.
In conclusion, I think we should normalize feminism from our own places in society. We may not make a huge difference by ourselves, but if we work together, we can reach gender equality. And this starts by raising awareness and teaching children that being a girl or a boy doesn’t define their potential. It all begins by us.

  3. "All over the world, gender equality is a controversial topic.
In one hand we have people who thinks that wemen just have to do wemen "stuff",like take care of their kids, being at home or that they can't study.
But on the other hand we have people who thinks the opossite.
Do we have much gender equality today? What is my opinion?
First off all I think that wemen and men can do everything no matter of their gender.
For example, not long ago girls weren't allowed to go to school, and today there are a lot of countries wich preffer to girl and wemen to be at home or to be married when tey are only fifteen or sixteen years old.
But there are some people who fight against this global problem. A perfect example is Malala Yousafzai, a girl who was only seventeen years old when she started to fight. She wants people, in her and other countries around the world, to have education for girls.
But in Pakistan, where she lived, she was shot in her head 'cause she was breaking rules of her country when she was taking some girls to the school. The most important thing is that she is still fighting against this epdemy, and that she gives a lot of girls an opportunity to study with her N.G.O.
To conclude I think that today in our society we haven't got much gender equality, but I don't think this is impossible. It could take a long time and a lot of effort, but all of us can finish with this problem that affects so many people.

  4. The issues of gender equality about men and women is a problem wich affects all people in the world. All people fight for the end of this problem. I think that women have the same rights than men. Some people think that women must stay in their house clean and do the washing up, the clothes. Other people thimk that women don´thave the same virtues and abilities than men.
People that think that the women are only meant to be house wifes are wrong because women have the same rights to work or do the same things as men.
And peple who think that women haven´t the same virtues and abilities that men are too wrong. Because women are less strong than men but no less inteligent or copable of doing the same things.
In conclusion nobody says to me that not for being a woman or for being a man you have to judge the role that they play in the society or in the family.

    Gender Equality
Have you heard about Emma Watson´s campaign? It´s all about gender equality. I think that what this campaign wants to transmit is a very good idea because everyone must know the importance of women and men enjoy the same rights.
HeforShe is not just an educational or an awareness campaign. It´s mission-focus trying to incorporate people that are taking action for gender equality. They have an online website, similar to a manifestation in which people comment or share something that they think or feel. In my opinion, it´s a great idea because in this way there are different opinions about this issue that affect our society. This is because there are people who desagree with the idea that women and men can have the same oppotunities and benefits.
In conclusion I consider that we have to raise awareness about this important issue and make people understand that both men and women have the same rights.
